Typically, the fragrant, flowery cones that give beer its bitterness, flavor and aroma are dried for use in brewing. Brewers use fresh hops or "wet hops" to make a mellower, earthy beer. Fresh hops have to be used quickly and the resulting wet-hopped beer is generally a limited edition. This festival is your opportunity to check out the fresh hop creations of 27 breweries.
